Direct deposit setup and updates
To receive your CPP via direct deposit, you need to provide your banking information:
- Bank name
- Transit number
- Institution number
- Account number
You can set this up when applying, or update your information anytime by:
- Logging in to My Service Canada Account
- Calling 1-800-277-9914
- Visiting a Service Canada office with ID and a void cheque
If you change banks or close your account, update your information immediately to avoid missed or delayed payments.
What to do if your CPP payment is late or missing
If your CPP payment hasn’t arrived on the expected date:
